This cat was filmed in a Polish laboratory where the use of stray cats and dogs was apparently commonplace. Following the BUAV investigation, the European Commission initiated legal proceedings against Portugal for failing to prohibit the use of stray dogs in research. Molly, a stray dog destined for a research lab in Portugal, was rescued by the BUAV.
