Roseisle Skincare is the latest company to receive Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny certification across its entire range of products. The certification is the only international guarantee against animal testing in a company’s own brand products.
Roseisle Skincare was set up by Paul Hammond, a reflexologist who tells us that the company developed skincare products not only with the ability to care for the skin’s texture and appearance, but also to have therapeutic value for the whole body. According to Roseisle Skincare, all of its skincare products are purely natural, made by hand and contain organic ingredients. Both vegetarian and vegan products are available.
This year, Roseisle Skincare has already received two commendations from the FreeFrom Skincare Awards; one for Only the Best Butter in the Body Care (Leave On) category and the other for Patchouli Body Butter in the Problem Skin category.
Paul, Owner and Founder of Roseisle Skincare said: “As an adult I have always believed that all creatures have not only a right to life but a right to live it in freedom. As fellow creatures, however superior we believe ourselves to be, we don’t have the right to change that. That is why it was so important to Roseisle to gain Cruelty Free International’s official certification against animal testing.”
In order to become certified by Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny programme, companies are required to adopt a cut-off date, open their supply chain to monitoring, and submit to external audit requirements. Roseisle Skincare joins over 600 companies to have obtained Leaping Bunny status.
Cruelty Free International, the organisation established by the BUAV, is campaigning to end animal testing for all beauty products worldwide. For further information please visit: http://www.crueltyfreeinternational.org
