Marble Hill becomes Leaping Bunny certified

Unique and luxurious skincare brand Marble Hill is the latest company to be certified by the Leaping Bunny – the only international guarantee against animal testing in a company’s own brand products.

Set up by Dr Maria McGee and using its very own natural spring water from its well in Northern Ireland, Marble Hill now trades throughout the EU and USA. Marble Hill states that all products are 100% natural - there are no chemicals, additives synthetics, fragrances or colorants’ or any other type of cosmetic or man-made ingredient in any product it produces. The company also states that its entire product offering is vegan and all ingredients come from sustainable and fair trade sources where appropriate.

Dr Maria McGee, CEO and Founder of Marble Hill said: “A cruelty-free approach has always been a part of our ethos and when our vegan customers made us aware of the Leaping Bunny we knew immediately that we had to formalize these values by joining Cruelty Free International. We look forward to working with Cruelty Free International to bring a more humane and gentle approach to skincare in the future.”

In order to become certified by Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny programme, companies are required to adopt a cut-off date, open their supply chain to monitoring, and submit to external audit requirements. Marble Hill joins over 600 companies to have obtained Leaping Bunny status.

Cruelty Free International, the organisation established by the BUAV, is campaigning to end animal testing for all beauty products worldwide. For further information please visit:
