Can you spare five minutes to make a difference for the thousands of dogs and hundreds of cats killed in UK laboratories each year?

04/03/2014

The BUAV has recently released the shocking findings from its Born To Die investigation into the use and killing of puppies and kittens at MSD Animal Health in the UK. The findings were reported in the Sunday Express and Mail Online.

Born To Die is the heart breaking account of individual puppies, kittens, and other baby animals whose lives were callously cut short and their bodies butchered. It is a dark and gruesome secret that the research industry would never want you to find out about.

Please support our investigation by writing to your MP and asking them to sign Early Day Motion 514 which calls for an end to the use of cats and dogs in research, and also to raise these concerns with Home Office Minister, Mr Norman Baker.

To make it as easy as possible for you, we have added the issue to our online lobbying tool. All you need to do is enter your postcode and you can find out who your MP is and receive a template letter to email or post to them.

Born To Die is part of the BUAV’s Our Best Friends campaign which calls on the UK Government to end the use of cats and dogs in laboratories. In 2012, 3,214 dogs and 202 cats were used in experiments in the UK.

Please give five minutes of your time to make a difference for the thousands of dogs and hundreds of cats killed in UK laboratories each year:
