

Cruelty Free International, the new global organisation established by the BUAV to end product testing on animals, launched last week to an overwhelming response from the public.
With the help of our fantastic Ambassador Ricky Gervais, our inaugural campaign video went viral and gained over 20,000 views on YouTube in the first 24 hours; the number is continuing to rise daily.
The launch received international media attention with coverage in many countries and included online publications such as the Huffington Post, Ecorazzi and The Daily Express.
Our Facebook and Twitter communities are growing rapidly too, with supporters from around the world - showing that the public stands behind our call. As Ricky put it, the time has come to close the door on animal testing for cosmetics worldwide.
