Clean Up Cruelty campaign

BUAV to attend Co-op’s ‘52 ways to change the world co-operatively’

The BUAV is delighted to be attending the Co-operative’s ‘52 Ways to Change the World Co-operatively’. This Saturday, we will have a stall in the marketplace of co-operative organisations, where visitors can find out more about actions they can take to change the world co-operatively.

Visitors to the BUAV stall can learn more about our Clean Up Cruelty campaign to end the cruel use of animals to test household products, including how to join us and make your workplace, council or student union cruelty free.

The Clean Up Cruelty campaign has gained support from a number of MPs and companies who have made their offices cruelty-free by pledging to use only products approved under the BUAV’s Humane Household Products Standard symbolised by the Leaping Bunny Logo.

BUAV's campaign recently won Government support when a ban to finally bring an end to the use of animals in the cruel and unnecessary testing of household products was included in its programme. The BUAV is now asking the government to follow through on this pledge.

The BUAV welcomes supporters and members of the public to visit our stall at ‘52 ways to change the world co-operatively’ to be held at Westminster Central Hall (Storey’s Gate, Westminster, London, SW1H 9NH) between 11am – 4pm.
